Yes, it's tasty. And to see how I get on in the next round (hint: the Jay Rayner will be involved), do tune in tomorrow 20th April 8pm on BBC1! Just a few elements but with the aim of doing them really well. #MasterChef", added another.

For Forest's second course he made a 'tidy' Eton Mess, and unfortunately was sent home after his dishes failed to wow the judges.

John Torode - “I think it’s professional quality” WHAT A DAY! The first challenge on MasterChef is always tough - nerves, unfamiliar kitchen, new equipment, cameras-in-your-face to name a few.

NKY, 49, a civil servant from Lagos in Nigeria was first to make the mistake as she made a spicy cajun chicken thigh with sticky rice.

But when the judges opened it up it was still pink and raw inside leaving them unable to try the dish.

In reaction one viewer penned on Twitter: 'Why can't people cook chicken??!!??!!

But it didn't go down well with the judges, or the audience watching the show at home.

Returning winner, Thomasina, slammed the main course as “one dimensional” after the lobster and cheese sauce were both lacking in flavour.

John went on to say: "First savory dish from Forest.

The horror. #MasterChef'

Both NKY and Victor, a 62-year-old IT consultant, were sent home at the end of the eventful episode.

Since it was revived in 2005, Masterchef has been judged by John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

Outside of the show John is best known for hosting John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen alongside his wife Lisa Faulkner, and is also reknowned for popularising Australian food in the UK in his restaurants The Luxe and Smiths of Smithfields.

Yay!

Once again, India Fisher - who has appeared in shows including Dead Ringers, Peep Show, and Doctor Who – will return to narrate the show. But I said he was toast earlier. Its not turned out how I wanted but it is'

Moving on: Talking about the tart she added: 'I should have made some spare cases but I didn't!'

Another said: 'More pink chicken #MasterChef #MasterChefUK.'

A third commented: 'Time For a game Raw Chicken Roulette #MasterChef.'

In the cook off after failing to win an apron in the first round Victor's pan-fired guinea fowl with mushrooms and fondant potatoes was pink in the middle too.

There's not a lot to this dish."

MasterChef viewers wasted no time in taking to Twitter to share their 'outrage' after Forest served up noodles from a packet, with one person writing: "Quarter finals of MasterChef and whips out the Tesco noodles ffs #MasterChef."

A second stated: "Noodles from a packet #MasterChef #MasterChefUK, dear god no.

Its not turned out how I wanted but it is.

Talking about the tart she added: 'I should have made some spare cases but I didn't!'

Oh no: It was a tough day in the MasterChef kitchen for Cliodhna Gibson, 24, who had a nightmare with her chocolate tart on Thursday night's episode

Mistake: She made her pastry too thin and flimsy so when she tried to move it it broke onto the floor, oozing the sweet filling everywhere

Sad: The blonde beauty could only then serve one successful tart to judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace

Jo and Claire left earlier in the episode leaving the four boys remaining.

If you haven’t seen it yet - do catch up on BBC iPlayer (sorry for the spoilers) - my heat has a bunch of absolutely lovely and incredibly talented people that you cannot miss. Viewers thought it was Forest's decision to use packet noodles which made it easy for judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace to send him home

Taking to Twitter to express their disappointment at the result, one person wrote: 'Forest was my winner until today!'

'Forest only lost because he got his noodles from a packet,' remarked someone else.

Another viewer posted: 'One person does packet noodles.

#MasterChef'.

Awkward: They were left unimpressed and she was sent packing at the end of the episode as the four men left made it to the next round

Upset: Speaking as she left she said: 'If you don't laugh you'll cry. But my concern here is that these are noodles that have come out of a packet.

As far as I I know almost no one were able to to get any decent sleep the night before (I didn’t for sure) so this was pure adrenaline - and being able to do justice to something that I love was simply a fantastic feeling.

BBC MasterChef viewers completely outraged after contestant Forest uses item straight from a packet

As the second round of quarter-finals, one contestant failed to impress judges and viewers with their choice of noodles!

MasterChef viewers were left outraged after Forest Kwok used noodles from a packet rather than making his own from scratch.

During tonight's episode (April 21) of the BBC cooking competition, Gregg Wallace and John Torode were back with the second round of quarter-finals.

One person makes his own noodles.
